We began the day taking our terrible typefaces, cut from wood and painted white, into the photography studio. Mine was a 'Lucida Handwriting' letter 'C'. We were then each to be photographed somehow involving one or more of the letters.
Typoo..
All of the letters in the studio
We then took all of the letters around the rainy streets of Pimlico and Westminster..
Have a look at this film by Joe Egan which sums up the day perfectly!
Like this project, looks like it was a lot of fun. A tweet by your sister pointed me in the direction of your blog.
Having had a good look around and at your work I wondered if you'd be interested in displaying any of your artwork on our online gallery (British University Artists)? You can find us at www.britishuniversityartists.org.
As the name suggests we only display and promote artists based at British universities and colleges. Please pay us a visit and see whether you think it's for you? I do hope so.
Best,
